Before
AfterWhat we fix
We don't do gates, glass or digital locks. Every job is timber door work, so we're better at it.

Rotten, swollen or chipped frame bottoms cut out, rebuilt and refinished.

Hollowed timber removed and replaced after pest treatment.

The most common HDB problem: frames that soak up water from the bathroom floor.

Strip, sand and re-varnish faded, scratched or peeling timber doors.

Sun-faded teak and veneer main doors brought back to a deep, even finish.

Sagging, scraping or sticking doors re-hung and adjusted.

Why repair first
Most companies quote a full frame replacement because it's the simplest job for them. That means removing the door, breaking out the old frame, and often chipping tiles or plaster. Then you pay for a new frame, the hacking and the touch-up.
In most homes we see, only the bottom of the frame is damaged, where it meets a wet floor. We rebuild that part and leave the rest alone. It's cheaper, quicker and there's no hacking.
If a frame really is too far gone, we'll tell you and quote a replacement instead. Read repair vs replace: how to decide.

Questions
Yes. In most HDB and condo flats only the bottom 15–40 cm of the frame is rotten. We cut out the damaged section, splice in new timber, fill, sand and colour-match the varnish so the joint is hard to spot. It usually costs much less than replacing the full frame.

We repair and replace the timber. If termites are still active, have a licensed pest-control company treat the area first; we can recommend one and schedule our repair right after.
For frame-bottom repair, usually not. For full varnishing we take the door off its hinges and lay it flat so the finish cures evenly, then rehang it.
A frame-bottom repair is usually done in one visit of 3–5 hours. Door varnishing takes 1–2 days because each coat needs time to dry before the next.
WhatsApp 2–3 photos (full door + close-up of the damage). We reply with a price range, usually within the hour during working hours.
